Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen welcome their third child on January 13.
At a private concert, 43-year-old Legend said they welcomed “the little baby this morning,” just a few hours after the baby’s birth. “What a blessed day,” he told the crowd. “[I] “didn’t get a lot of sleep,” but he assured the crowd that he “feels energized” from spending “a lot of time” at the hospital with the new baby.
Watchers of the show quickly took to social media to confirm the news, excitedly posting, “@johnlegend just told us he had a baby this morning,”

Teigen announced her pregnancy on Instagram last year in August with a heartfelt post showing off her new baby bump. She wrote in the caption, “The last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,”Â
“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!), we have another on the way. Every appointment, I’ve said to myself, ‘ok, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful, and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok, phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!” Teigen happily shared.Â

According to PEOPLE, Teigen and Legend have two children: Miles Theodore, 4, and Luna Simon, 6. Unfortunately, their most recent baby comes after the loving couple lost a child two years ago in 2020.
