John Cena Posts Photo Of Black Doppleganger, Brendan Cobbina, On Instagram And Fans Go Crazy

John Cena shared a photograph of a bodybuilder in the UK named Brendan Cobbina on Instagram on Aug. 10, and his fans went crazy. Cobbina looks a little like Cena, and fans are now calling him “Jamal Cena,” according to CNN.

Apparently, Cobbina doesn’t have an issue with it because he now calls himself the “Black John Cena” on his Twitter profile. The bodybuilder is

the owner of OmegaMuscles, where he is also a coach.

“24. You may know me as the ‘Black John Cena’ or the owner of OmegaMuscles. Bodybuilder. Coach. Check the link in my bio for training/diet plans,” wrote Cobbina.

After Cena posted Cobbina’s picture, the post was widely shared on Instagram and garnered more than one million likes. The post also circulated on Twitter and caught Cobbina’s attention. The Black Cena had a sense of humor about the viral photo and even posted a clip on Twitter so that people could make memes and gifs.

Cobbina told BNC that he enjoyed the post and thought it was funny. He woke up to friends telling him about the post.

“I was sleeping, was woken up to everyone telling me that he posted me! I thought it was a bluff,” said Cobbina. “No way he’d realize me and post me. But he did. It’s incredible. It just shows how small this world really is.”

He also got a kick out of being called “Jamal Cena” and added that his friends called him the “Black John Cena.”

“That’s so funny. It had me hysterical for ages. I feel great about it,” he said.

Cobbina also said that he would love to get into wrestling one day.

“I want people to know me as that funny bodybuilder, personal trainer,” he said. “I’ve always advocated to be a social media character who talks a lot about fitness, bodybuilding and life in general. I have my own online personal training business called OmegaMuscles. I just want people to know me for Brendan Cobbina as well as Black John Cena. I’m a big wrestling fan and hope to actually get into the industry one day. I’d even like to do a couple of funny events.”

Hopefully, his new doppelgänger and WWE wrestler John Cena will hook him up.
