Janet Jackson delved deep into family secrets in a new documentary a source told Ok! Magazine. The source said the family is “freaking out” about what she may reveal as she plans to tell “everything” in the upcoming 2022 documentary Janet.
Janet plans to spare no words on her relationship with her late father, Joe Jackson, the source claimed. “He bullied Janet and made her feel like she was nothing without him,” the source said. “But her siblings say they had it much worse — especially when it came to Michael.”
According to the report, Janet, who at times had difficulties with her father, also had a soft spot for him. The “Nasty” singer made her affection for the patriarch known on social media when he passed away in 2019 by posting a photo of them together when she was a child. The post, however, is no longer available.
The “Rhythm Nation” singer touched on her marriage and divorce to Wissam Al Manna as well, the source said. The couple, who married in 2012 and split in 2017, shortly after the birth of their son, Eissa, and are currently engaged in an ongoing custody battle.

Janet detailed her personal relationship with her late brother Michael. While the two were close, and Janet has publicly addressed the former’s struggles with addiction, the source said, “Janet adored Michael but admits his lifestyle was bizarre.”
Jackson had a reckoning in doing this documentary, said the source, and she can’t wait to bring the truth to the forefront.
“Doing this documentary has been incredibly cathartic for her. She can’t wait to shed light on her family’s deep, dark secrets.”
Her family, however, isn’t excited about the singer exposing personal business. They are not certain how much will be divulged in the tell-all to be simulcast by A&E and Lifetime.
