Janet Jackson Shows Off Her Insane Flexibility In Viral Behind-The-Scenes Video Clip

Iconic Grammy Award-winning pop star Janet Jackson recently showed off her insane flexibility in a behind-the-scenes viral video of her stretching during rehearsals via Twitter.

Jackson posted the short clip on the social media platform, giving her followers a brief taste of her pre-performance routine and proving that she still got it, including flexibility skills.

“Trying to properly stretch before these rehearsals,” she wrote next to a handstand and laughing emoji on June 29.

The singer was scheduled to take

the stage at the Essence Festival that weekend. Other headliners at the show that night included R&B singers Jazmine Sullivan, Chloe & Halle, Summer Walker, Lucky Daye, and the legendary Grammy and NAACP Image Award-winning soul musician Patti LaBelle. The festival kicked off on July 1 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.

That evening, Jackson posted another behind-the-scenes tweet sharing a video of dance rehearsals for her hit 1986 song, “The Pleasure Principle.”

“Rehearsals. Looking forward to seeing u guys at @essencefest,” she wrote with a kissing face emoji.

After her performance, she posted a montage video of her at Essence’s “Be Bold” dinner party, partaking in a swag-surfing dance at the event, and holding up a giant check donated to her Rhythm Nation Scholarship Fund.

“What a fun night celebrating with u all at the #BeBold Dinner Party. Thank U to @CocaCola #IfNotForMyGirl, @ATT #DreamInBlack, @PROPELCenter for your contribution to my Rhythm National Scholarship Fund.”

The fund was created to award outstanding African-American students pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, mass communications, mass media arts, fine arts, visual arts, music, photography, or TV production in a participating UNCF college or university.

Following the festival, the 56-year-old flew to the Cincinnati Music Festival as she was also a headlining artist that night. Other artists who performed at the festival included R&B singer Ari Lennox and legendary R&B singer Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band fame.
