Mars and Paak previously attended Jackson’s star-studded surprise 56th birthday party, which went down at speakeasy and club, On The Record Inside Park MGM. Attendees of the party included the pop star’s ex-husband Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Nelly, and Jimmy Jam, among others.
Paak did a pop-up DJ set at the event, which was flowing with drinks, lots of dancing, and selfie-taking.
“You ever been to a party where @anderson._paak is the DJ, and @usher @nelly and myself are in the booth with him? I suggest you get to the next one,” Dupri wrote under a short slideshow of images from Jackson’s party via his Instagram page on May 16.
