“All for you” singer Janet Jackson recreated her iconic “Control” album cover look with the help of 2007 Project Runway winner Christian Siriano.
Siriano posted a side-by-side photo of the 1986 look when 56-year-old Jackson was 20 years old and the 2022 version, looking the same.

“When Janet calls and asks you to re-create her CONTROL album cover you do it! Wow how do I get to create for this icon! I love this woman so much!!!!”
Siriano re-created Jackson’s bold-shouldered black jacket and paired it with the matching black wide-leg trousers. The icon finished the throwback appearance with her hair swept to one side, curly and in an updo like the album cover.
Janet brought her “Control”-inspired look to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where she inducted the duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who produced the album.
“Congratulations @officialjamandlewis on being inducted into the @rockhall!!! I LUV u both so much,” Jackson posted on her Instagram. She included a video of the duo posing together at the event.

The “What Have You Done for Me Lately” singer also attended Siriano’s New York Fashion Week show in September, sitting in the front row. The fashion designer told Page Six that he rescheduled the event just so the singer could attend the show.
“Having Janet at my show and being with her, that’s just something I never imagined would happen in my career,” he said.
We would’ve rescheduled as well for the queen.
