In an exclusive interview with Joe Budden on Patreon, Isaiah Rashad opened up about his sex tape leak from February.
The sex tape leak allegedly showed the rapper having sex with other men. This led the 31-year-old to interview for the first time since the incident. He discussed his own sexuality and his current relationship during the conversation.
“I’d say I’m sexually fluid,” Rashad said. “I’m still learning about it myself. I’m putting my head in the books to find out the basics of it. But basically, I’m not in full control when I walk into a room of who I’m attracted to. And just ’cause I grew up in high school I dated this type of person, in college dated this type of person, it doesn’t necessarily mean that as an adult that it’s gonna always be, like, specific.
He continued, “But I’m more so attracted to a personality, and I’m attracted sometimes to the intellect. And sometimes it just being attracted to somebody.”
He says he has been discovering his sexuality, even in his current relationship.
“It’s been a gradual thing over the past couple of years,” Rashad said.
“Luckily, I date someone who has a similar understanding of themselves in that way. I was lucky to understand it. She’s put me onto a lot of stuff that I didn’t even understand.

When the video leaked, Rashad revealed his grandmother was battling cancer, and his grandfather died from a stroke two days after the sex tape went viral.
“I’ve been keeping my mind together. It’s been a time for my family to come together,” Rashad said. He also said he does not want to pursue legal action against the person who leaked the video.
“It’s been a concentration of family together, more than they had been before. If anything, I can’t be mad at everything about it. I always gotta look at the brighter side.”
