The rapper, who’s formerly known as Kanye West, is deadset on reuniting his family and reconciling with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. He recently purchased a home located across the street from the reality star.
The high-key intrusive and creep move is West’s attempt to get that old thing back with Kim– though she has seemingly moved on. The $4.5 million home in Hidden Hills estate is “modest” compared to Kim’s palatial state in the same subdivision.
The “Flashing Lights” rapper’s new crib is an older model house built in 1955. Since its inception, the 3600 sq. ft single-family house had been owned by the same family. The ranch-style home has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a guest studio attached to the garage with one bedroom and bathroom. It sits on an acre of land and also has horse stables on the property, according to Dirt.
Although the publication referred to the home as “unremarkable,” it didn’t stop West from paying $421,000 over the asking price for the property. The Hidden Hills subdivision is where the couple purchased their palatial estate in 2013. Kim bought West’s stake in the home for $23 million. He also owns a $57.3 million Malibu mansion near the ocean.
During an appearance at a fundraiser for the homeless on Thanksgiving, the eccentric artist declared that he “needs to be back home,” and his job was to “get his family back together.”
Although he expressed his love for Kim to anyone who’d listen, West’s estranged wife filed court papers to reclaim her maiden name and drop her married name.
Despite West’s efforts, Kim still hasn’t taken the bait and is living her best life with her new beau, Pete Davidson from Saturday Night Live.
She hasn’t commented on her ex’s new home or his proximity to her.
