Ime Udoka’s Alleged Employee Mistress Reportedly Arranged Nia Long’s Travel Plans

The Boston Celtics staffer allegedly involved with Nia Long’s longtime fiancé Ime Udoka reportedly arranged the actress’ travel plans.

According to TMZ, insiders said that the unidentified woman allegedly arranged Nia’s travel plans for away games and helped her move to Boston. The 51-year-old previously relocated to Bean Town with her 10-year-old son Kez Sunday Udoka–just two weeks before the explosive news surrounding Ime arrived. They reportedly moved two months after Ime became aware of the Celtics’ investigation.

The Celtics recently suspended Ime, the team’s head coach, upon learning that he allegedly had an “intimate relationship” with a female employee. Although the alleged affair was reportedly described as consensual, the unidentified staffer accused him of making “unwanted comments towards her.” As such, the Celtics conducted several interviews and decided to suspend the 47-year-old for the 2022-2023 NBA season due to “violations of team policies.”

In response to the affair allegation, Ime released a statement via ESPN reporter Malika Andrews.

“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” he said on Sept. 22. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision.”

On Sept. 23, Nia released a statement via People, asking the public for “privacy” as she continued to “process the recent events.”

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” she said. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

Nia and Ime reportedly got engaged in 2015 after having their son Kez in 2011. The veteran actress has another son, Massai Dorsey (21), whom she had during a previous relationship with actor Massai Dorsey.

The Brooklyn native celebrated her longtime fiancé making the finals during his first year as the Celtics’ head coach back in May.
