R&B singer Craig David sat with Fearne Cotton on her podcast Happy Place, where he opened up about some personal revelations he discussed in his recent book, What’s Your Vibe?: Turning Into Your Best Life, and revealed he is psychic.
The “7 Days” singer revealed he had psychic capabilities, something he says he doesn’t discuss publicly. According to him, his psychic abilities allow him to connect with his ancestors and see the future.
“I’m super empathetic, super sensitive, and super psychic, which I feel very liberated to say now,” he told Cotton. “I was a bit in the closet about being psychic. But I’m very clairvoyant, and I can see things in the future.”
David continued by claiming he’s a clairaudient, someone who can hear people from the future and past. “My ears ring off like crazy, and I know there’s a guide or some ancestor trying to come through and tuning in.”
The singer also opened up about how he used to be a people pleaser when he started his music career. He gave an example about how he was with his dad at an art museum, and someone approached him for a selfie. At the time, he allowed it because he was afraid that if he had set boundaries and told his fans “no,” his career would be taken from him.
The 41-year-old also spoke about the dark time he went through while dealing with a back injury in 2017. The pain exacerbated to the point where he struggled to get through his Good Morning America performance. He continued seeing medical professionals to see what was causing him pain and had to endure injections to block the nerve causing the pain sensation.
“And that became my life for the next few years,” David stated. “I hate to say this, but I had really dark thoughts where I was, like, you know what if this is going to be my life from now on, whatever we need to do to stop this. I’m thankful I never got to the point of, ‘How would I go about doing that?’”
