How “America’s Next Top Model” Tyra Banks Reached A $90 Million Net Worth

Actress, model, and entrepreneur Tyra Banks has racked up an impressive net worth of $90 million throughout her 30-year career.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Banks has had an extensive career through her modeling career and in film and television, which has led her to acquire a net worth of $90 million.

Variety recently reported that the model had created a tech-focused theme park for modeling in California named ModelLand. It is set to be a theme park with implemented virtual reality games and attractions.

The park has yet to have an opening date but will reportedly feature shopping vendors and food making it accessible to all ages.

“I am being very deliberate to make sure this is something families can come to,” Banks said. “I’m not creating this to service people who want to become models or are models.”

Banks’ career kicked off in the ’90s when she became the first woman to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She was later the first Black woman on the cover of GQ magazine and then made history as the first Black woman to rock the cover of Victoria’s Secret catalog. 

She later decided to dive into the movie industry, and in 1995, Banks was cast in the movie Higher Learning. She starred in several films, including Life-Size, Halloween: Resurrection, Tropic Thunder, Hannah Montana: The Movie, and more. Most famously, she is known for hosting the hit television shows America’s Next Top Model and Dancing With The Stars. 

Banks also launched a production company called “First-Look” with ABC.

According to MadameNorie, recently, Banks ventured into the ice cream business and launched “SMiZE Ice Cream.”

The model is also known for giving back to philanthropic causes. Banks 

created the TZONE, which was later relaunched as the Tyra Banks TZONE and was designed to provide life and leadership skills to disadvantaged Black women.

Forbes reported that in 2017 Banks began teaching a class at Stanford University in California about personal branding called “Project You: Building and Extending your Personal Brand.”

The entrepreneur is also highly invested in real estate, which has attributed to her success.
