I don’t want this to happen to the next person. I want to knock down these percentages.”

Quavo’s journey to make a change took him from the streets of Houston to the epicenter of American politics. He met with Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House, took part in a panel discussion during the Congressional Black Caucus legislative conference in Washington, and even graced the screens of “Good Morning America” to shed light on the grave issue of gun violence.

“I feel like after going to the White House, I need resources,” Quavo asserted. “In order for things to change, we need resources.”

When asked what Takeoff would think of his actions, Quavo’s response was heartfelt: “It’s a tough thing knowing I’m not going to see him again on this earth — but I know he’s proud of me.”
