On June 9, Halle Berry replied to a comment on Twitter of a user asking how she felt about being mentioned in “damn near every rap song.” She responded that she loved it.
Over time, Berry has been a famous highlight of rapper’s songs.
On Waka Flocka Flame’s rap in “Round Of Applause,” he said, “That girl look like Halle Berry when I’m on no means/When I hit the scene girls yelling, and they scream.”

He said, “Man, what if Halle Berry was my next baby moms/S**t I get that child support up with no problem.”
From artists like Kanye West in
“New Workout Plan” to J. Cole’s “Higher” to Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees” have mentioned Berry in their songs. It seems like the actress has gotten used to being named called, not just by artists, but even in football plays.
In 2018, the actress’s name dropping went beyond the music industry and into the football field when former Rams quarterback Jared Goff used her name as an audible.
Berry was confused as to why she was being attached to this particular change in the play call and tweeted.

Berry was asked about her favorite rap song, name-drop, and the Oscar winner explained why she couldn’t pick one over another.
“I think of these references, like my children, in a way,” she said. “There’s no way I could pick one. I love all these artists. I’m always flattered when any one of them include me and that they still remember me or even know who I am. So, to pick one would be like picking my daughter over my son. I love them all.”
