The love and support of grandparents are always cherished. Recently, a Georgia grandfather displayed that affection by supporting his granddaughter’s growing hair business.
A 21-year-old hairstylist, A’lea Lynn, who goes by username @Aleaweea on Instagram, is a New York native living in Atlanta who often posts on social media to expand her hair business, BOTWC reported.
She regularly creates content to promote her skills as a budding hairstylist, reviewing various wig brands and styles and providing step-by-step instructions to install wigs successfully. Lynn took to social media to post a video of her grandfather — one of her top supporters — in a custom-installed wig that he willingly allowed her to practice on him.
The results were mind-blowing!
When he was approached with the idea, Lynn’s grandfather had a puzzled look on his face as she held a wig cap in her hand before the transformation started. She performed the step-by-step process the same way she would any other client. First, the hairstylist placed the wig over the cap, laying the glue foundation to produce an invisible lace while cutting and shaping the baby hairs. After completing the steps, the finished product was a Spanish curly unit that many women would be ready to rock the same look, BOTWC reported.

The video went viral on social media as viewers flocked to the post to comment on Lynn and her skills. Her grandfather approved and ended the video with a thumbs up.
While this wasn’t the first time Pop Pop participated in the hairstylist’s makeovers, her grandfather has supported her dream as she continues to perfect her craft. Lynn took to social media to thank all supporters who loved and shared her content and to thank her grandfather for backing her business.
“Thank you guys for all the positive comments!! Still grateful that he allows me to practice my craft on him, lol. Some of y’all may remember last year when I first practiced on him [because] his bald head is the perfect canvas! He’s always a good sport, and we love creating these memories together! My grandfather and I really appreciate all the love,” she wrote.
