R&B legend Ginuwine recently passed out while rehearsing for a magic trick gone wrong on the set of CW’s Magic With The Stars.
According to the Daily Mail, Ginwune lost consciousness while rehearsing the stunt with magician Criss Angel in Las Vegas. A video of the frightening incident shows the “Differences” singer fainting while submerged in a glass tank filled with water. He was reportedly filming for CW’s new show Magic With The Stars.

In the video, Ginuwine is seen hitting the glass to signal that he was struggling while holding his breath underwater. Workers rushed to his aid and tried to calm him down before he eventually passed out.
“It all happened so fast. It was like he got tapped out in a fight. In the show, he was trying to overcome his fear of being underwater, as he couldn’t hold his breath for longer than 15 seconds before trying the stunt out. Although he failed in rehearsals, he still went ahead with the stunt on the show, and everyone was in tears,” a source told Daily Mail.
The anonymous source added that workers on set called an ambulance for Ginuwine and that he was brought to the hospital unconscious. However, a rep for the artist told Page Six that, thankfully, he made a full recovery and is doing fine.
“Ginuwine is okay, and he made a full recovery. He was conquering a fear. Fortunately, everything is okay as he was working with Criss Angel, who’s the best in the business,” the rep said.
He seems to be in great spirits, as he shared a selfie of himself rocking his salt-and-pepper beard and a Yankees-fitted hat.
“Laughing my ass off, Prince said it best lololol #love #life #laugh #imgood #superman #airportlife #imnotdead lol,” the R&B singer wrote on Oct. 13.
