Gayle King, co-host of CBS Mornings, sat down for an interview with Andy Cohen of Watch What Happens Live to discuss the drama with Amy Robach and T.J Holmes over at ABC. In the December 9 airing, King prefaced the discussion by saying she was hoping not to talk about the dramatic affair between Holmes and Robach. Still, she did have a lot to say about the
Good Morning America hosts.“Gosh, of all the questions I was hoping you would not talk about,” King began.
“I look at the situation, and I do say it’s very interesting what’s happening over there,” She began. “It’s just gotten very messy and very sloppy, I do think that. Because in the beginning I actually thought good on Good Morning America;
they are saying that they’re not taking them off the air, two consenting adults. But then the more you read, it’s just very messy.”King admitted that the situation was sad and complicated. “It’s a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved, and I keep thinking about that,” she said, “I’m very concerned about that.”
As previously reported by Sis2Sis, both Holmes and Robach have since been removed from the air after they confirmed that they were involved in a romantic relationship in order to maintain adequate workplace conditions. The couple has reportedly been having an affair for several months, and the pair are even planning to get married after both of their respective divorces are settled.
