According to The Grio, the Fox Soul tribute was filmed in the group’s native Detroit, featuring an exclusive interview with the now-quartet on faith, family and forgiveness throughout their decades-long career. The group will also make an exclusive announcement with former member and sister Denise Clark-Bradford.
Clark-Bradford has had a shaky relationship with her sisters since the 1980s and hasn’t performed with them since. However, Karen Clark Sheard acknowledged the importance of her sister, hinting at a potential reunion.
The Clark Sisters also recently experienced renewed attention thanks to their 2020 Lifetime Network biopic The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel. The film was an absolute hit and netted about 2.7 viewers during its premiere. Deadline reported this as the highest-rated original movie for Lifetime since 2016.
