A Georgia photography company is suing former reality star NeNe Leakes for allegedly refusing to pay the company for their work at her club, The Linnethia Lounge.
Radar Online reported that the lawsuit was filed in Gwinnett County Court on July 7 against Leakes (listing her real name Linnethia Leakes) and her club, The Linnethia Lounge.
According to the complaint, the company Photography by Ace communicated with Leakes through email, where they sent the invoice and payment reminders numerous times. Photography by Ace claimed Leakes wasn’t cooperating and refused to pay them.
The photography company added that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star tried claiming she never worked with them, yet invoices allegedly begged to differ. Photography by Ace attached the invoices addressed to Leakes. On one invoice, Leakes reportedly owed the company $500 after photographing a brunch and Falcons Halloween Party on Oct. 30 and 31, 2021.
The second invoice charged her $500 for a job that occurred on Nov. 12 and 13, 2021. Days after the lawsuit was filed, a process server waited for Leakes to arrive at her $1.8 million condo to deliver the legal documents. When she got out of her 2020 Blue Rolls Royce, the process server said they “delivered the documents to Linnethia Leakes with identity confirmed by subject saying yes when named. The individual accepted service with direct delivery.”
Photography by Ace’s website included photos taken at the Linnethia Lounge in 2021. Leakes was included in over a dozen photos. The photographer has multiple folders showing pictures taken at The Linnethia, dating back to August 2021. The company has photographed a 90-Day Fiancé meet and greet event and the 2020 Jokes & Jams Drive-In Concert, where Jagged Edge and Bell Biv Devoe performed.
Leakes has been a prominent figure in the Housewives franchise since 2008. In 2020, Leakes departed from RHOA and was never seen again on the show. She claimed in her dismissed lawsuit against Bravo, RHOA production, and Andy Cohen that they created a “hostile and racist work environment.”
