Former ABC News Anchors T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Are In Love And Wanting Another Show

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, both former Good Morning America anchors on ABC News network who are getting married, are attempting to create a TV career after their reputations were shattered.

With their careers dormant, the former GMA anchors, the cheaters fired by ABC executives in January, met with a slew of networks, including CBS Media Ventures, CNN, FOX Entertainment, and others, hoping to launch a syndicated show similar to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, according to Radar.

Before GMA, T.J. has also worked for CNN and BET, covering politics, entertainment, and breaking news. Amy has covered different news issues and conducted interviews as a co-anchor of ABC’s “20/20” news magazine and ABC News since 2012.

An internal inquiry showed that they had broken corporate rules, especially the morality clause, by failing to disclose their illicit romance. Despite losing their GMA3 hosting jobs, the couple was able to negotiate a large compensation with the network.

It is difficult to predict when they could land something after getting publicly fired from GMA. Nonetheless, given their claimed net worths and the ongoing flow of money from ABC, they should have enough cash to last till then.

Sources say their love life is strong. “It seems like for a while they weren’t bothering with that,” a source told PEOPLE, “but now they are making a concerted effort.”

“They’re still getting paid by ABC so they’re not worrying too much about their next steps yet, though they have floated some ideas for next projects and taken some meetings,” the insider shares. “Amy’s so talented, and this whole year and how everything has played out has been a shock to her.”

T.J., 45, filed for divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig, and Amy, 50, divorced her Melrose Place star husband, Andrew Shue. T.J. was discovered buying a promise ring before Amy’s 50th birthday.

Meanwhile, they’ve been on vacation together, but those public outings may become less regular. While they appear to be happy, they appear to be “trying to lie low” and are allegedly “making a concerted effort” to do so. Some reports suggest that they looked to enjoy their trips in recent months.
