Alexis Adams, the mother of Flo Rida’s 6-year-old son, Zohar Paxton Dillard, claimed the rapper isn’t helping her pay their son’s medical bills after he fell from her fifth-floor window, sustaining severe injuries. 

The accident happened on March 4, and while it’s unclear what led up to Zohar’s fall, Adams claimed that the apartment contained “windows that posed a hazardous condition,” which led to the 6-year-old boy falling until he hit the concrete pavement.

According to Insider, Zohar obtained pelvic fractures, left metatarsal fractures, internal bleeding, collapsed lungs and a grade-three liver laceration. He’s in the ICU recovering.

sued Pitch Perfect 74, LLC, Goldberg Management, Carlos Machado and other building and construction companies for negligence.

While the lawsuit is pending, Zohar’s medical bills add to Adams’s financial stress. Insider reported that Adams told them Flo Rida (real name Tramar Lacel Dillard) hadn’t contributed anything to the medical bills. But this isn’t the first time the two have had financial tiffs.

Since 2018, Adams and the rapper have fought in court about child support, education and insurance payments.

Zohar was diagnosed with ventriculomegaly, a brain condition contributing to his neurological and learning disabilities at birth. He was also diagnosed with autism, requiring him to attend a private Manhattan school that assisted children with neurological disabilities. 

Bronx County Family Court judge ordered the hitmaker to pay $9,000 monthly child support payments, along with Zohar’s insurance and education. 

Adams told Insider in January that the boy’s father hadn’t paid over $200,000 for his tuition and said he was cut from his insurance in March 2020 because Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield didn’t receive any payments.

In November and December, Flo Rida’s lawyers pleaded with the judge to lower his monthly child support payment and requested that he didn’t pay for the child’s education, claiming he couldn’t afford it.

With the $82 million he won from his lawsuit against Celsius Energy Drink, he should be able to help his distressed son.

Adams gave a statement to News 12 New Jersey about how she was feeling following the accident.

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Adams wrote. “I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures.”

Flo Rida (real name Tramar Lacel Dillard) took to his Instagram story to ask his followers for prayers for his son.

“Great day, thank you to everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son,” the “Good Feeling” rapper posted. “He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall. I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remain a private matter.”
