According to the show’s official Instagram account’s post on September 8, BET’s First Wives Club, starring Jill Scott, Ryan Michelle Bathe, and Michelle Buteau, is officially returning for a third season.
The show has earned the hearts of viewers, set in New York City, and follows Ari (Bathe), Bree (Buteau), and Hazel (Scott), who become the best of friends after their respective marriages crumble to pieces and find strength in sisterhood and the shared goal of revenge.

Vibe reported that it is yet to be confirmed if Scott Rudin, a producer on the 1996 film The First Wives Club and an executive producer of the show’s first two seasons of the series, is returning for season three.
According to Deadline In April, Rudin said he was “stepping back from my film and streaming projects in addition to my work on Broadway,” following abuse allegations.
The series also stars RonReaco Lee, Mark Tallman, Michelle Mitchenor, Essence Atkins, Deborah Cox, Gary Dourdan, Jordan Carlos, and Mikhail Keize.
After season two premiered on July 15, Scott took to Instagram and shared her enthusiasm about the show.
She wrote, “Yes. @firstwivesclub Season 2! We’re back [winking face emoji].”

Despite the confirmation, there is currently no set premiere date announced for season three of the show.
