Fetty Wap’s Bond Revoked For Threatening To Kill Someone Over FaceTime

Rapper Fetty Wap had his bond revoked and was rearrested for violating the conditions of his precarious pretrial release after showing off a gun on FaceTime and threatening to kill someone, according to an affidavit released on August 8.

Willie Junior Maxwell II, more commonly known as Fetty Wap, was allegedly on a FaceTime call with an unnamed man when he threatened to kill him multiple times after the man called Fetty Wap a “rat” and aimed a gun at the camera. Unfortunately for the “Trap Queen” rapper, the video call was recorded and then sent to prosecutors, giving them the ability to arrest him once again.

The affidavit described the incident, “The defendant says to John Doe [the unnamed threatened man] ‘Imma kill you and everybody you with,’ which he then repeats one more time,” The document said, “The defendant then continues to threaten John Doe, saying ‘I’m gonna kill you,’ a threat which he repeats several more times throughout the video call. Additionally, after John Doe called the defendant a rat, the defendant responded by saying, ‘Your man is a rat.’”

Fetty Wap reportedly violated the order after being found in possession of a firearm by brandishing a gun in full view during the video. After being re-arrested, the initial $500,000 bond was revoked by the judge.

The “1738” emcee was initially arrested last year and charged with conspiring to distribute controlled substances in New York; he was identified as one of six people involved in what police suspect to be a multi-million dollar and bicoastal operation. As previously reported by Sis2Sis, Fetty Wap was accused of being a kilogram-level distributor.

It was reported that investigators found almost $2 million during their initial search, which included guns, fentanyl, ammo, and a myriad of other drugs. The New Jersey native is up against a maximum length of a life sentence if he’s found guilty, although he maintains his innocence so far.
