Fans On Social Media Divided After Puma Curry Posts Thirst Trap Photos Of Her And Mom Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu’s daughter Puma Curry posted a series of thirst trap photos of herself and her mom on Instagram, and the duo received mixed reactions to the images.

On January 23, the 18-year-old young woman posted three photos of Erykah and herself donning body-skimming pants that hugged their bodacious bottoms to the nines.

Although many fans showed love to the mother-daughter pair, some critics felt the images were inappropriate.

Fans, who loved the images, praised the “On and On” singer and her daughter’s physiques and their fits.

“Like momma, like daughter,” someone wrote.

“She get it from her mama,” another person opined.

Another fan penned, “Mother and daughter, embracing their beautiful bodies😍. The black woman is GOD.”

Someone else admonished the haters that jocked the Kardashians but had negative comments about Erykah and Puma’s natural bodies.

“Some of y’all men n women are sad. To hate n throw shade on the Queen n her mini-me. But y’all glorify the plastics like Kardashians or basketball wives etc. smh. Bless your hearts 😂”

Some of the critics expressed that the 51-year-old singer and her daughter were “objectifying” themselves, among other things.

“So, yall advertising azz and [objectifying] and exploiting yall bodies for personal gain then post for likes views and engagement for payment. 🤦‍♂️ This clearly commercial prostitution,” one woman wrote.

Another person expressed, “This is not cute they should not be taking pics like this together like they are homegirls or something!!!”

“As beautiful as those yams are, it’s kind of weird for a mother and a daughter to advertise their yams on the internet together. What is happening to us as a Black folks in America? We have accepted a normalized abnormal behavior. This is not us. This is not who We are. This is what we have been turned into in America. We are more than what we’ve become. We need to snap out of the sickness and return back to building Nations and cultures. This is not us. This is not something to be proud of. We are more than what we’ve become in America,” one fan wrote.

Puma’s post has amassed almost 116,000 likes so far. The 18-year-old is the daughter of rapper D.O.C.
