Boosie Badazz has been having a busy month. From appearing on Justin Laboy’s new online show #Respectfully Justin, to going viral for paying an extra to be literally slapped on-set of his new music video, it’s safe to say that Boosie doesn’t mind being in the spotlight. This time, he uploaded an Instagram video letting his followers know that a fan confused him with Flava Flav, the 62-year-old rapper and reality television star.
He wasn’t too pleased about the comparison. Starting his video with a frown, he said “I was just in the f*****g airport, and a lady gon’ talk about ‘Flavor Flav!’”
Wearing red-framed shades, heavy rings and a diamond chain, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper continued, “I don’t look like no damn Flavor Flav, I look like Boosie! That’s why I don’t wear these damn red glasses…to early in the morning for that sh**,”

He then took an opportunity to brag a bit, adding, “Flav, you can’t f*** with me, man.” before ending the rant. Followers instantly flooded his comments with laughing emojis and quotes about his “red shades” look. Flavor Flav was known for his white-framed shades and giant clock chain, and as some fans pointed out, the comparisons are there.
One Twitter person joked online that the resemblance doesn’t just end with the shades.
Another user wrote “All I’m saying is you ever seen Flavor Flav and Boosie in the same room???” with a side-by-side comparison of both rappers rocking the red shades look.
Flavor Flav also caught wind of Boosie’s video and responded. In a video, he joked “I don’t look like Lil’ Boosie. If anything Lil’ Boosie look like me! I was here first.”
