Singer Faith Evans and her ex, Stevie J, have settled their everlasting divorce battle, Radar Online reported.
Following years of wrestling to agree on their divorce terms, the “Love Like This” singer notified the court that she “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and marriage or domestic support partnership rights, including support.”
Now Faith is waiting for the court to approve their deal. The specifics of their divorce terms haven’t been revealed, but it reportedly covered everything, like attorney fees and spousal support.
Regarding their attempts to salvage the marriage, the divorce documents stated that “there are irreconcilable differences that have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage or domestic partnership, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage or domestic partnership through counseling or other means.”
Stevie and Faith married in 2018, but the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta former cast member filed for divorce three years later. Due to not signing a prenuptial agreement, the two engaged in a nasty divorce.
Not only did Stevie file for divorce, but he had the audacity to request that the court order his ex-wife to pay him monthly spousal support. Faith, obviously, objected to the request.
Embarrassingly enough, Stevie took to social media to beg for her back, per a Sis2Sis report.
“Faith Rene Jordan, I’ve hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world. From this day forward, I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart,” he wrote. “I also promise to build you up even more & to communicate daily with you, respect you and love on you until you’re as happy as you were when we got married. I’ve learned my lesson, and I NEVER want to live without you because God knows I’m a better man with you, and I’m asking you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust.”
Faith didn’t buy it, and the divorce process continued.
In April, Stevie decided to act up and take Faith’s Mercedes for a joyride while she was sleeping. She requested that the court order him to return her property, especially since the insurance didn’t cover him and his suspended-license-ass.
