Power and Power Book II: Ghost executive producer 50 Cent said he is leaving STARZ, according to an Instagram post the rapper posted on Mar. 1. STARZ is the cable network of both Power and Power II.
The rapper posted a caption with a gif of a man packing his stuff in a suitcase. The caption noted his deal with STARZ was up, adding he dealt with too much ‘dumb s**t” at STARZ.
“This is me packing my stuff, ” he wrote. “STARZ 😵🍆Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest-rated show they have it sitting in limbo.”
“If I told you how much dumb shit I deal with over here. 🤦♂️ .”

Fifty posted several more videos after the first, which showed a succession of a man packing his bags and going to an airport. The executive producer captioned each post with a statement about leaving STARZ with the quickness.
“Hold my calls i’m traveling, 🏃♂️💨getting the fvck away from STARZ. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” he wrote.

Power aired on FOX between 2014 and 2020 and had a stellar cast, including Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton and Michael Rainey Jr., who stars in Power Book II: Ghost. The sequel premiered on Sept. 6, 2020, and is currently in its second season.
