Paul Pierce went live over the past weekend on Instagram and instantly went viral for what appears to be a house party. Strippers, shots and an alleged marijuana blunt were put out there for the world, and ESPN, to see. According to an unnamed source, ESPN not only caught wind of Pierce’s Friday night antics but has since “parted ways” with the former Boston Celtics star.

Pierce, who was a regular on ESPN’s professional basketball analyst show The Jump, was seen in his Instagram live getting a massage from several strippers. He also showed strippers twerking and taking shots with him and the other guests.
The video also shows Pierce and his friends playing a poker game. “We investing, we doing big things,” he said at one point in the live stream, seemingly intoxicated. “You might see me on an NBA team. So follow me, check me out. We’re doing big things over here.”
“I’m not married. What you mean ‘cheating on my wife?’ Dog, you trippin’,” he responded to a fan in the comment section. At the now-famous house party, Pierce was also allegedly smoking what appeared to be a “marijuana blunt,” according to the Daily Mail.

Social media certainly had their opinions on Pierce’s kickback, with many wondering why the sports network chose to fire him. Others criticized the 43-year-old basketball player for putting it out there in the first place.
“They fired [the] man for enjoying himself in his free time,” one person tweeted.

Pierce has since responded to the news by posting a video on his Instagram, thanking his supporters and haters. “Bigger and better things coming, baby. Don’t worry about it. You fall twice, you get up three times…Just always remember to smile, baby.”
Looks like Pierce is unbothered and on to the next thing, and ESPN is still goofy af.
