Erykah Badu Goes Public With New Beau, Fellow Musician JaRon The Secret

Over the past weekend, famed neo-soul songstress Erykah Badu offered fans a glimpse into her personal dating life, sharing a series of selfies with her “guy” JaRon Adkison, known professionally as the musician JaRon The Secret.

With the “Call Tyrone” singer also uploading a mysterious photo showcasing matching neon green-colored rings on their ring fingers, many believe that the photo dump could also announce her engagement to the producer.

“Solar Eclipse Dump. Making room for many, many, many more memories. Right now, Moon covers the sun’s eyes, forcing it to use other forms of vision. (Closes Eyes) I see you with my heart. I see you with my gut,” the 50-year-old

shared on Instagram to her 5.1 million followers.

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, JaRon The Secret shares Badu’s love of music through his music engineering and producing craft. According to VoyageDallas, he can play the piano and guitar and is skilled in songwriting, singing and rapping.

The Daily Mail reported that the pair were seen in photos grabbing Chinese food together in Martha’s Vineyard this past August,

referring to the 27-year-old as Badu’s “fiance.”

In an intimate birthday post this past February, JaRon The Secret opened up about Badu’s impact on him since their meeting, saying on Instagram, “Thank you for adding so much seasoning and so much love and so much heart into what you do and who you are. It’s because of you and people like you that the world turns in new, interesting ways. Like the time you showed me how to use IG Live. 😂 Happy 50th Birthday. Happy Life to You. Love and Peace.”
