Eazy E’s Daughter Disses Ice Cube For Not Taking Part In Her Father’s Documentary

Eazy E’s daughter Ebie Wright shared her frustration that Ice Cube refused to take part in the documentary being made on her late father’s life and death.

In an interview with Too Fab, Wright said, “You know, it really breaks my heart that he hasn’t spoken on this yet because I grew up with his sons, and I have a really good relationship with them.”

“He actually told me that Ice Cube was willing, he was gonna do whatever for me, and he was down. Since then, when we tried to book him to do the interview, he’s been ducking and dodging.

To be honest, I don’t know why Ice Cube wouldn’t talk about my dad with me,” she continued.

“I don’t know because again, he’s been on many platforms large and small, you know, talking about Eazy-E. So I really don’t know. I don’t have the answer. We’d have to ask him.”

The young woman, who was just four years old when she lost her father to AIDS, raised the money to film the documentary for years and is now near the finish line.

According to The Grio, Ice Cube and Eazy E, along with Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren, and Arabian Prince,

founded the popular rap group N.W.A. and helped found a new sub-genre of hip-hop known as gangsta rap.

This all before Eazy E and Ice Cube had a falling out, which led Cube to leave NWA and record “No Vaseline,” which is known to be one of the most significant diss records of all time.

On her Instagram, Wright recently shared a message on the 26th anniversary of her father’s death.

On the subject of her father’s documentary, Wright shared that she is excited for it to come into fruition and wishes she could have Cube on board.

“The only thing I will say honestly, is probably the only person that actually matters to this story I’m telling, who hasn’t talked on it so far, I’m just being completely honest … is Ice Cube.”
