Drake impersonator, Izzy Drake, has challenged the real Aubrey “Drake” Graham to a $1 million Celebrity Boxing match via Instagram.
Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman told TMZ that Izzy inked a deal for an Aug. 27 fight night event, which he’d be participating in whether the authentic Drake wants to join him in the ring or not.
The imposter even agreed to stop impersonating his idol if he lost the hypothetical match.
“Yo, yo, yo, it’s ya boy Izzy Drake, OVO tings, you already know we outside. I’m calling Drake out for a friendly boxing match. If I win, you gotta sign me to OVO; you gotta give me $1M,” Izzy said in an Instagram video he shared of himself calling out the rapper on June 28. “If you win, I’ll change my name. It’s an OVO ting, you already know.”

Earlier in June, the Drake imposter was kicked out of a nightclub in Houston after promoters DJ Eric and Chris Chizer got wind that he was in the building. Once they spotted Izzy, the two ordered security to remove him from the club due to their loyalty to the Canadian rapper.
Drake himself even liked footage of the incident which was posted via hip-hop blogger DJ Akademik’s Instagram page.
“Even Drake liked the video of fake Drake kicked out of the club [laughing emoji]. Has this gimmick run its course, or [nah]? Akademiks wrote in a screenshot of the 35-year-old’s liking his initial post.

Drizzy hasn’t publicly responded to Izzy’s challenge, as he’s been busy enjoying his life since he released his seventh studio album, Honestly Nevermind, on June 17. The surprise album features the single “Falling Back,” in which he released a video for that day. The video was directed by legendary Canadian music video director, Director X, and stars Canadian-born NBA star, Tristan Thompson.
