DMX was rushed to the hospital last Friday after reportedly suffering a near-fatal heart attack. Medical staff attempted to revive the New York rapper three times, twice in a home, and once at the hospital he’s currently receiving care from, a source close to him told Entertainment Tonight.
Friday night, DMX was rushed to a hospital in White Plains, New York, after a heart attack, which allegedly is a result of a drug overdose. The actor-musician had collapsed in his home, according to TMZ, and was immediately admitted to the ICU.

On Monday, DMX’s children flew to the New York hospital to visit their father. TMZ also reported that due to COVID-19 restrictions, his kids are only allowed to visit his room one at a time for what “could be a final goodbye.”
They left around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a source.

He was reported without oxygen for almost a half-hour. Despite erroneous reports of the rapper getting better, his grave prognosis remains unchanged.
