During a recent episode of the Fresh and Fit podcast, DJ Akademiks got into an intense argument with Instagram model Whitney LeDawn. After the featured guest exchanged words and insults on camera, the hip-hop commentator later shared online that LeDawn allegedly grabbed a gun and “cocked” it during the altercation.
In a now-viral video, LeDawn and DJ Akademiks are seen shouting at one another, with the former Everyday Struggle host boldly calling her a “broke a** b***h.” A male voice yells at everyone in the room to “move to the left” in a second clip, apparently as a safety precaution.

DJ Akademiks later shared a video online, alleging that LeDawn was packing heat during the sitdown and that she cocked her gun after being asked to leave.
“The mere fact that she had a weapon in her hand while n****s already asked her to leave the premises, and she’s cocking it, somebody could’ve done something, and it would be warranted.”
Following the alleged news that LeDawn went for her gun, many were left with mixed reactions on social media. One person tweeted in response, “Vic Mensa called Akademiks a b***h to his face, and he responded with “in what sense?” A woman called him out on a podcast, and he was on his feet ready to fight, very telling.”
