There are rumors on social media that DJ Akademiks’ ex-girlfriend outed him on Discord so his fans could see him in a different light, and he has acknowledged some of these rumors on stream for clarity.
On April 22, pictures, which have been circulating on Twitter, seem to indicate that someone close to the popular media personality has leaked personal and rather embarrassing information about Akademiks, whose real name is Livingston Allen.
The streamer, known for hyping celebrity news and gossip and getting drunk off Henny, was caught off guard during his weekend stream when fans inquired about the leak and the deletions of his social channels.
With a calm and sad tone, the Jamaican-born hip-hop commentator does not deny the images, saying that he will feel to address the rumors on his own terms.
“I am going to be honest, I feel a sense of relief now that everything is public because now I can speak on it and tell the truth,” said the streamer.
Though he did not offer much explanation for the rumors to some of the claims, he left fans with the impression that the woman responsible for leaking the information was plotting to frame the personality in a desperate attempt to destroy his credibility.
Suffice it to say, the allegations of his alleged herpes medication to being in a toxic relationship where he is the aggressor, his online career is in jeopardy and signals the end of his influence.
In what may lend some authenticity to the rumor, the pictures of the rumored Akademiks include his New Jersey driver’s license and his medicine for his alleged herpes, both belonging to Livingston Allen.
The images, rumored to expose Akademiks and was reportedly posted on Akademiks’ Discord before being deleted, are graphic, featuring someone’s glans penis and an image of a penetrated butt.
Readers are advised to view this with caution.
Here are the things that are said about Akademiks: he is rumored to be living with herpes or some type of STD and has visible bumps in the center of his stomach that lead down to his crotch, was once the father of a secret child that he abused the mother into having an abortion, is physically abusive to women, is not as rich as he claims, and was caught in a lewd sexual act, some of his fans would be inclined to think that he is into homosexual activities.
There is also an unflattering picture of someone, presumably a Latina, performing oral sex on someone who is supposed to be Akademiks, which could support the notion that Akademiks has contracted a sexual disease.
Another picture shows a white person’s hand, possibly a woman’s hand, penetrating a Black person’s bumpy buttocks, again allegedly associated with Akademiks.
The New Jersey streamer told fans the alleged ex-girlfriend, who lived with him inside his New Jersey home, sabotaged his Rumble account, which he has an exclusive partnership with up-and-coming YouTube competitor to live stream three to five days a week. He has denied the physical abuse and said the abortion was mutually agreed upon, but there is no word on herpes or butt claims.
The rumors, all of which have yet to be properly addressed by Akademiks at the time of writing, were shared by Blueface, who has an ongoing feud with the personality.
Akademiks first gained popularity for his commentary on hip-hop culture and the music industry through his YouTube channel, which has more than 3.5 million subscribers to date.
The commentator has more than 1.4 million followers on Twitter.
Akademiks is a controversial figure in the hip-hop community for his coverage of artists such as Tekashi 6ix9ine and XXXTentacion, often posting controversial content that has been criticized for promoting negative behavior and glorifying violence.
The host has or has had feuds with several rappers and personalities: Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Rory and Mal (former Joe Budden Podcast co-hosts), Sharp of the No Jumper Podcast, and Freddie Gibbs.
In addition to his YouTube channel, Akademiks has also co-hosted the “Everyday Struggle” web show on Complex. He has also released music under the stage name Lil AK.
His popularity on YouTube has led to executive deals, including a Spotify-backed podcast called Off the Record with DJ Akademiks and Rumble.
Akademiks, best known for flaunting his wealth on celebrities, peers, and rappers, appears to be sitting in a poorly designed living room with a white woman. The room, which has not been confirmed to belong to or feature Akademiks, has boxes and plastic bottles that look more like a frat house than a mansion or luxury high-rise.
