‘Divorce Court’ Judge Lynn Toler Thanks Fans For Support Following The Death Of Her Husband

Judge Lynn Toler took to Facebook on January 11 to thank her fans for supporting her through such a difficult time.

She shared that her friends, family, and fans being kind and understanding as she coped with the loss of Eric “Big E” Mumford was precisely what got her through the devastating hardship. a divorce court judge who tragically lost her husband on December 23.

Toler, aged 63, began the extensive post, I think this will be my last Grief Post. You’ve been so kind and understanding, but I think I am at a place where I no longer need to share the dark out loud on a platform. The other day, I went on Widow TikTok and almost lost my mind.” She continued to talk about her experience with grief in her post, “I’m all for sharing and caring, but after a while, if all you see is hurt, it’s harder to get through it. At least for me. I absorb others’ angst.”

“But before I reposition, I wanted to share this one last thing. I got comments from more than a few folk praising me for speaking so positively about my husband. They say it speaks well of me, in stark contrast to “modern women” who just bash guys. There is so much incentive for men and women to bash each other these days because it starts a mess and gets you followers and invites the ever-increasing incendiary language and ideas that infects how we feel. You can’t soak in a tub of derision and come out clean. It soils you, bit by bit, and then negativity becomes the norm,”

Toler explained that her husband of 33 years was a man deserving of the praise and included a short clip from a previous The Breakfast Club interview where she talked about the late Mumford almost 15 years ago.

“I deserve no praise for speaking highly of him. I’m just relaying the facts. He deserves it. He did those things that made me adore him over and over again. Was he perfect? No. But he was a man who loved hard and always tried to do the honorable thing. He took care of people. He was a #highvalueman, and it had nothing to do with the money he made.”

She finished the post by saying that she was ready to begin to get back to “my normal corny self,” Toler again gratefully thanked her fans for getting her through the holidays following her husband’s sudden passing.

The Divorce Court announced the passing of her husband on January 4 with a heartfelt Instagram tribute. Although the cause of Mumford’s death wasn’t announced, the 71-year-old passing was met by an outpouring of support and condolences.
