Diddy Proves He Has Too Much Time on His Hands By Changing His Middle Name to Love

Once again, Diddy proved he is a certified weirdo by legally changing his middle name to Love.

We thought the shady music mogul was just playing when he mentioned changing his name to Love or Brother Love way back when. However, Diddy proved he was very serious when he posted a picture of his license on Monday. The government name is listed on the Florida driver’s license as Sean Love Combs.

“Look what I just got in the mail today,” he captioned the post. “IT’S OFFICIAL!!! WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA.”

Diddy has been calling himself Love or Brother Love since 2017 when he tweeted a video of himself explaining why he wanted to change his name.

“I’m just not who I am before. I’m something different. So, my new name is Love, AKA Brother Love,” he said in the video. “I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers, but Love or Brother Love, okay?”

“It’s my birthday. I feel good. God is the greatest, I give all the glory, and I thank my momma and daddy.”

After he was rightfully clowned for this foolishness, he claimed he was joking, per CNN.

“Due to the overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion… I was only joking, okay,” Diddy said. “I didn’t change my name. It was just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is ‘Love.’”

So, he lied. But we all know he doesn’t have a reputation for being honest. Just ask his artists.

The news wasn’t met with much fanfare on Twitter. Instead, many of them were wondering why he posted a full, unedited picture of his license on Al Gore’s internet.

“Bruh, I hope this ain’t real. If it is, please edit your driver’s license info so your identity can’t be stolen,” suggested one person.

“No matter what, you’ve decided to change your middle name to. You just invited identity thieves to prosper with all the info on your license,” pointed out another person.

Diddy better be careful, or the scammer might get scammed.
