Family, friends and celebrities gathered on Sunday in Atlanta for the grandeur funeral of Jacky Oh, who shared three beautiful children with comedian DC Young Fly.
According to an Instagram post from the comedian, he and the family held the funeral at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. Jacky’s white casket with gold accents rested at the altar with dozens of roses before and on top of the casket.
The Wild ‘N Out cast member shared a heartwarming speech mottled with DC’s famous humor to keep things uplifting during the service.
“She had a beautiful soul. She was a great mother. I’m talking about super great mother…and we’re going to continue that. We’re going to continue that love.”
Speaking directly to Jacky’s casket, he stated, “Jack, you know I love you, girl. You know. But you know we’re here, baby. We’re here. Like you said, it feels like a dream. Feel like a fairytale, but this ain’t no fairytale. And if Joseph ain’t complain, I won’t either.”
He continued, “I love you, Jack. These kids are beautiful, man. God granted me the strength to have three even though I was trying to have seven more.”
The audience laughed, and DC added, “She’s going to beat me up for that one. But I love you, girl. And I want our kids to understand that you had a beautiful soul. And you didn’t leave us, you in heaven. Your spirit is with us. You still here, and we have an amazing support system. We have a beautiful support system.”

During some parts of his speech, DC clarified that God gave him and his children the strength to get through the hard times, bringing up the bible character Joseph as an example.
DC said he, Jacky and his children were God-fearing and knew God didn’t make any mistakes. One of the most powerful things he said during the speech was that if Joseph didn’t question God despite his traumatic obstacles, he wouldn’t either.
Videos also surfaced showing DC with his and Jacky’s children, 6-year-old Nova, 2-year-old Nala and 10-month-old Prince, viewing her body in the casket. Later, DC and others slowly lowered the casket’s crown to a close.
After the funeral, family and friends gathered outside and around DC to witness him release white doves, which symbolized the release of a loved one’s physical presence on earth.
Jacky’s casket rode in a white horse-drawn carriage instead of a hearse.
