It looks like 2021 is truly the year of the apology for DaBaby. First, he was making them. Now, he has received one from MrsLaTruth. The married influencer backpedaled on the fabricated DMs that she claimed the rapper sent her.

The influencer, whose real name is Brianna Hampton, posted screenshots that intimated that DaBaby, who was working with her husband, was being disrespectful by trying to shoot his shot at her using a  female decoy.

Fans of the rapper accused the influencer and her husband of “clout chasing,” and she took to her Instagram stories to e-shout at the people accusing her of making up the story and the fabricated messages.

“Someone who’s innocent isn’t gonna send threats. My husband doesn’t have to clout chase for nothing. Wtf y’all talking about. This is the last time I’m addressing this….. No, I don’t owe him no apologies!!! It was him,” she said

Well, there’s a new development.

MrsLaTruth came back to Instagram to issue a public apology to DaBaby.

“Apology to DaBaby and his family,” she posted. “Thanks, fans, for doing your investigation and getting the truth from this girl who started it all! Ppl have way too much time on their hands!”

DaBaby has some very dedicated fans, and they took the time to investigate the woman who allegedly sent the messages to MrsLaTruth.

Since his Rolling Loud performance, DaBaby has received his share of e-spankings from fans, former fans, the industry and organizations alike. Being caught attempting to seduce his business associate’s wife was something he did not need.

As for the woman who sent the messages, there has been no mention of why she did it. Perhaps she has something against MrsLaTruth. Perhaps she has something against DaBaby. But, maybe, she can blame it on the pandemic like we do everything else these days.
