DaBaby’s lawyer has responded to Danileigh’s brother’s lawsuit following a Bowling Alley incident earlier this month.
Drew Findling, who represents the “Masterpiece” rapper, said Brandon Bills’ lawsuit is a baseless attempt to gain money from the musician, TMZ reported.
“It is offensive that this alleged victim threatened and instigated violence and has now used this incident to make a quick money grab.”
Findling’s statements are regarding the 29-year-old’s claims he made during a Hollywood Unlocked interview last year. Bills reportedly challenged the 30-year-old to a public fight while betting $2,000,000 on the brawl.
The lawyer believes officials should not waste any more time with a criminal investigation following Bill’s comments, instigating a fight. He said Bill’s civil lawsuit is solely based on financial gain.
“Garbage like this has no place adding to the backlog and wasting law enforcement time and energy.”
Sis2Sis previously reported that Bills filed a lawsuit against DaBaby after the two had an altercation on Feb. 9 at the Corbin Bowl in Topanga, California.
Bills cited “assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence” in the court documents. In addition, he claimed the rapper “suddenly attacked” him after he walked by, leaving him with “severe injury and pain.”
While the 29-year-old didn’t fight back, he reportedly suffered “physical and psychological damage, plus medical bills and sustained disability,” the documents stated.
Video footage captured the Charlotte native throwing the first punch before his crew members jumped in and continued the fight with Bills in-between the bowling lanes. Then, the rapper’s entourage started sliding around on the slippery lanes while attacking Bills.

The 27-year-old singer responded to the scuffle in her Instagram stories before going viral on Twitter.
“Lame as hell!!!! Running up on my brother on some slippery a** floors with 5/6 of ya boys while he’s by himself and not even touching him!!!” Lame and soooo sad.” She continued, “I pray this stops now!! Bc, this is my family! And I got a daughter to raise. Sad,” she wrote.
