After less than two years of marriage, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill are calling it quits.
The Jasmine Brand reported that an anonymous source confirmed the news on October 11. The unidentified person told the publication that the couple had been separated for some time and that the split was amicable, but they’ve now filed for divorce.
“They really do love each other, and it wasn’t anything scandalous or anyone at fault. It just didn’t work out.”
The sports anchor posted a cryptic message on Instagram on October 5 that may have forewarned the end of his marriage.
“It’s been a challenging season, but it’s also been one of learning and growth. I appreciate it all. It only makes you stronger and better. Thanks to all who continue to pray over me,” Hill wrote in a post where he looked like he was praying.

In January, Hill denied accusations of him allegedly cheating with a woman who claimed he sent nudes and videos of himself.
“Please don’t believe bs. Not exposing me because THAT’S not ME. I don’t know this person or why they’re doing this, but my lawyer has been contacted.”
He also expressed that his estranged wife didn’t believe the claims.
“We’re good. Cynt doesn’t believe it. She knows what I look like. She knows I don’t use snap. Only God can separate us.”
Bailey and Hill wed in a lavish ceremony, but the sports anchor hinted a year ago that there may have been trouble in paradise.
He also appeared on a podcast and discussed his marriage to the former model.
“Sunday was our anniversary, and then I took Monday off and had to go back to work on Tuesday. We basically stayed in town and went to this great hotel that’s in town in West Hollywood, and we just chilled, went to dinner, and enjoyed each other’s company,” Hill said.
“I’ll say because we are also very transparent. Yeah, we argue, and I’m going to tell you right now that Sunday was great [but] that Monday, I was like, ‘We might not make it to year two.’”
“Because it was just something that happened, I don’t go too far into our business – it was nothing malicious. It was just a misunderstanding. A lot of times, it’s just communication.”
Neither Bailey nor Hill have commented on the reported divorce.
The gorgeous model was also married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017.
