Social media star Watch Jazzy, born Jasmin Brown, had Black people divided on Twitter after her recent appearance on Lovers and Friends with Shan Boodram’s podcast.

On June 29, Shan and Jasmin openly talked about roles in relationships which brought the podcast host to ask the comedian what her “biggest flex” was in her relationship with NFL free agent quarterback Cam Newton.

The 33-year-old internet star happily admitted to being “submissive” to her man, and then boasted about spoiling Cam.

“I think my biggest flex is how I treat my man.”

 

“You know, like packing his bag, unpacking his bag. Just making sure—all the things that he wants. I pretty much read his mind,” she expounded to Shan. “If I know you, and I study you, I know how you are in the morning; I know how you are by midday. Before you can even ask me for something, I’m already on it. He’s spoiled.”

In a clip posted on her Instagram account, she discussed anticipating her man’s needs and making him feel welcome in his home.

The comedian, seemingly anticipating the backlash, admitted that some folks may feel like she was “enabling” Cam, but that’s just who she was. 

Shan and Cam’s bae also discussed the couple’s sex life. Jasmin divulged that she does anything to please her man, including having anal sex, even though she doesn’t like it. She also revealed that she scratched his back until he fell asleep every night.

In April, Cam had the internet shook with his problematic commentary about “bad b*tches.”

The serial cheater told Gillie Da King, “I grew up in a three-parent household. My mom, my father, and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was. Not a bad b*tch,” opined. “A bad b*tch is a person who’s just, you know, ‘Girl, I’m a bad b*tch, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ I look the part, but I don’t act the part.”

He continued,” There’s a lot of women who are bad b*tches. And I say b*tches in a way, not to degrade a woman but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem is a boss chick. Now a woman, for me, is, handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. Right? And I think a lot of times when you get that [aesthetic] of ‘I’m a boss b*tch, Imma this, Imma that.’ No baby! But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet! You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”
