“HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY, MOMMY!” Christan Combs, her shared son with Sean “Diddy” Combs, wrote on Instagram. “Only GOD knows how much I miss you and think about you every single second of the day!!!! I LOVVEEEE you and wish I could kiss you.”

On the morning of Nov. 15, 2018, Porter was discovered by her goddaughter unresponsive while in bed. Months after Porter’s death, a Los Angeles County coroner reportedly listed her cause of death as lobar pneumonia, adding that “the manner of death was certified as natural.” She was 47-years-old.

As Sister2Sister previously reported, Quincy, whose father is fellow musician Al B. Sure!, also honored Porter this past March during Women’s History Month. In a clip uploaded to social media, the 30-year-old musician stated at the time, ”For me, she simply was my mommy,” continuing, “I was a rebel growing up. My thoughts were different. Ideas were different. But she was the first to let me know that what separates me is what makes me that much more unique.”
Our hearts are with Porter’s children, family members and friends as they continue to process the tremendous loss.
