Chris Rock’s Brother Tony Rock Doesn’t Accept Will Smith’s Apology After Controversial Oscars Slap

Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, and producer Chris Rock’s younger brother, actor and comedian Tony Rock, has rejected Will Smith’s apology following the controversial Oscars slap.

In response to a Twitter user who asked him if he approved of the apology, he said he didn’t.

“Do you approve of the apology?” @PullYourCard asked Tony via the social media platform on Mar. 29.

“No,” he responded.

Shortly after Tony’s initial response to the Philly native’s apology, he told another Twitter user that his mother’s slap would be harder than the actor’s.

“Who you think hits harder, Will or Jada boyfriend?” @OHsintLaw asked the 47-year-old comedian.

“Mama Rock,” he said.

He then uploaded Chris’ poster for his upcoming comedy tour, “Ego Death World Tour 2022,” and continued responding to a string of questions from his followers about himself and his brother.

“@TONYROCK More importantly, how is @chrisrock, and would he checkmate on his comedy tour?”

“Still Rich,” Tony responded.

He concluded by saying everyone should watch Chris’ 2009 documentary Good Hair to show them that his sibling wouldn’t go out of his way to disrespect Black women.

“Be sure to watch Good Hair since the narrative is now changed to all my bro does is disrespect women of color.”

Since the Oscars slap incident, ticket sales for Chris’ upcoming show in Boston have skyrocketed.

The King Richard actor released a statement via Instagram two days after he smacked Chris on live television during the 2022 Oscars. He had done so as retaliation after the 57-year-old made a joke about his wife, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, as he was hosting the award show.

“I love ya. G.I. Jane 2

can’t wait to see it. Aight?” he said as he pointed to Jada. She recently shaved her head bald due to suffering from a severe hair-loss condition called alopecia.

Will quickly jumped to her defense by walking on stage and slapping the fire out of Chris. Naturally, video clips of the incident instantly went viral and broke the internet.
