Chris Rock Joked About Being Slapped By The ‘Softest N***a That Ever Rapped’ At Secret Comedy Show

Chris Rock has finally spoken out about being slapped by Will Smith, and he’s laughing at it. During a secret comedy show, Rock took to the stage with comedian Dave Chapelle to make light of both of their recent attacks.

Many people at the show didn’t know Rock was a part of the show until Chappelle got ten minutes into his set. According to the Hollywood Reporter, he started by addressing his May 3 attack. He talked about when his son embraced him afterward and told him, “Dad, I love you.”

The Ohio native also admitted that seeing Jamie Foxx come out in a sheriff’s hat after the attack was what calmed him down. The comedian then started giving shout-outs to the people who reached out to check on him when Rock emerged and sat on a stool near Chappelle, where the two joked about their attacks.

“At least you got smacked by someone of repute,” Chapelle told Rock. “I got smacked by a homeless guy with leaves in his hair.”

The “homeless guy” Chapelle referred to is the 23-year-old Isaiah Lee, who went on stage with a deadly weapon and tackled

him at the end of his set at the Hollywood Bowl while filming a Netflix special.

In response to his peer saying a homeless man took him down, Rock said, “I got smacked by the softest n***a that ever rapped,” referring to the moment Will Smith slapped him at the Oscars over a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The secret show seated 70 people, and the guest list included well-known celebrities like Yasiin Bey, Jeff Ross, Kim Kardashian, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and more.

Also, during that secret comedy show, Chappelle released more information regarding his attack. He said that security allowed him to converse with Lee, and he asked what prompted his actions. The man gave Chappelle a story about how his grandmother was kicked out of her neighborhood due to gentrification, and the attack was to bring awareness to her predicament.

All it got Lee was a well-kicked a**.
