Singer-dancer Chris Brown is in legal trouble again, this time being under investigation for battery. The “Run It” singer is accused of hitting another woman.
She was allegedly at Brown’s San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles home over the past weekend when the incident allegedly occurred, leading law enforcement to make a report.
TMZ reported that Los Angeles police took a battery report of the incident and listed Brown as a suspect after the unnamed woman stated he slapped her in the head and caused a part of her weave to fall out.

According to the New York Daily News, a Los Angeles police statement claimed, “The victim advised that she and the suspect argued, and the suspect struck her,” continuing, “The suspect was not at the location when the police arrived.”
There are no reports on what led up to the heated argument.
No stranger to battery or assault charges, Brown first made headlines outside of his music in 2009 when he was charged with battery following pictures of then-girlfriend Rihanna with face bruises surfacing online. In 2015, his probation related to the incident was completed.

In 2013, a woman attending an Orange County nightclub that Brown was performing at claimed that he deliberately shoved her to the ground, causing her to allegedly suffer torn ligaments in her leg and potentially require surgery. Three years later, the “Excuse Me Miss’ singer was arrested and charged for assault with a deadly weapon after a woman alleged he threatened her with a gun during a violent altercation.
So far, no arrests have been made over this past weekend’s alleged head-slapping incident. According to the New York Daily News, the victim didn’t sustain any injuries.
