Singer Chris Brown’s recent antics are the perfect example of “if you don’t have anything nice to say, you should keep quiet.”
On February 5, the “Fine China” singer took to Instagram to express his dismay over acclaimed composer and songwriter Robert Glasper’s 2023 Grammy win for “Best R&B Album.” Robert was given the award for the “Black Album III” during the pre-Grammys portion of the show. Chris’ album “Breezy” was also nominated in that category.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, he wrote, “Bro, who the f**k is this?” and “Y’all playing who da f**k is this?” The 33-year-old performer even added laughing emojis and a photo of Robert’s well-deserved win. He doubled down on the foolishness by cracking jokes about learning to play the harmonica.
“I Gotta get my skills up. Ima start playing the harmonica.”
For the record, the “So Beautiful” artist has won four Grammy awards and has been nominated 12 times. On the other hand, Chris was nominated 21 times with only one win.
Chris’ comments didn’t go over the way he thought they would. Even though the goofy artist deleted his offensive posts, it didn’t stop Black folks from eating his a** up on social media.
Instead of Chris Brown being nasty in his IG stories towards Robert Glasper he needs to be trying to set up a studio session with him, but I digress!

Ironically, Chris used the same image Robert used in his own marketing campaign for those who may not have known his swag.
“It’s been brought to my attention that y’all have questions about Who TF is Robert Glasper! If y’all have questions, I have answers. Check out my stories to play along,” he wrote on Instagram last week.
