Singer Chris Brown apologized for a series of comments he made about Robert Glasper’s Grammy win.
On February 6, Brown shared a photo of a DM he sent to Glasper, apologizing for his outburst.
Brown wrote, “Congratulations, my brother.. I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys .. you were not the intended target, and I know I came off really rude and mean. After doing my research, I actually think you’re amazing … THE ORGANIZATION ISNT DOING US BLACKS OUR DUE DILIGENCE. YOU AND I SHOULD never be in the same categor[y].”
He continued, “Two totally different vibes and genres. So from one black man to another.. CONGRATULATIONS. HOPE YOU ARE ABLE TO FEED YOUR FAMILY FOR LIFE. God bless my G.”

Brown’s apology also received criticism on social media as many fans and users believed it showed poor taste.

“You were not the intended target audience” … bro, you literally addressed him by his name

“You and I should never be in the same categor” … ??? It’s an R&B album, no?He’s not making it any better 👤

🤣 this is how a narcissist apologizes 101… didn’t take responsibility for the way he impulsively responded fr, attempted to trauma bond and then blamed his hate on someone else lol.. but play on playa. His fan base will love him regardless.

As previously reported by Sis2Sis, on February 5, Brown, 33, took to Instagram to share his distaste for losing a Grammy to Glasper, 44, for “Best R&B Album.”
Brown’s album “Breezy” was nominated but ultimately lost against Glasper’s “Black Album III.”
In a now-deleted Instagram story, he wrote, “Bro, who the f**k is this?”, “Y’all playing who da f**k is this?” and “I Gotta get my skills up. Ima start playing the harmonica.”
Brown received immediate backlash from Black Twitter, calling him a sore loser.
Clearly, the man needs a new PR team.
