Usher got into hot water this past week when fans initially thought he paid a Las Vegas exotic dancer only in “Usher Bucks,” which featured the R&B singer’s side profile. Though his rep has since come out to set the record straight, fans couldn’t help but remain amused at Usher’s fake currency, which was printed in 1s, 20s and 100s. Celebrities also got in on the gag, with 21 Savage and Chris Brown posting their “Usher Bucks” on their Instagram pages.
“Y’all ain’t the only ones gettin’ that usher money,” 21 Savage gloated on his Instagram Tuesday, fanning out a handful of “Usher Bucks.”
Fans flooded the rapper’s comments with laughing emojis, with many wondering how he got his hands on the phony cash.
One person joked in 21 Savage’s comments, “what’s in my pocket dawg BIG FACE USHERSSSSS,”

We reported earlier this week that an exotic dancer in Las Vegas implied that Usher didn’t pay her in real money, but in “Usher Bucks.” She asked on Instagram, “Ladies, what would you do if you danced all night and he threw this?” She continued in another post, “[And] the money does not have any trade-in value whatsoever! LMAO. Don’t y’all think he should be blasted for this s**t?”

Fans wasted no time dragging Usher for what they considered a broke and corny move, but his rep stepped in to deny the claims that the “Confessions” singer didn’t tip the exotic dancers. According to TMZ, Usher actually spent thousands of dollars at the strip club. Someone in his crew allegedly left the “Usher Bucks” to help promote his new residency in Las Vegas.
Usher appears to be taking the new attention in stride, joking on 21 Savage’s Instagram post, “Don’t spend it all in one place.”
