R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle have been making their move in multiple industries. While Halle Bailey is currently filming the live-action version of The Little Mermaid in Italy, big sister Chloe Bailey has been working on music production, solo music and sharing covers of her favorite songs on Instagram.
On July 4, the Beyoncé protégé uploaded her minute-long version of Drake’s “Marvin’s Room,” an often covered song about exes and heartbreak.
Featured on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care, “Marvin’s Room” tells the story of a man drunk-dialing his ex and spilling out his heart. It has been covered in the past by singers JoJo, Queen Naija and more.

With the famous lyrics, “F**k that n***a that you love so bad / I know you still think about the times we had / I say f**k that n***a that you think you found / And since you picked up, I know he’s not around,” the song contributed to the early 2010s phrase “draking,” described by Urban Dictionary as “a word originated from the rapper/singer Drake to describe when someone is behaving very emotional.”
Switching the lyrics while keeping the song’s melody, Chloe changed the chorus of “Marvin’s Room” to, “F**k that new girl that you got around / I know she is faking it when you lay it down,”
The “Ungodly Hour” singer continued, “Ima f**k your homeboy that’s in my DMs / You gone be left crying but you can’t say s**t.”
