Charlamagne Da God, legendary radio personality and author says Rihanna can win a Verzuz battle over R&B diva, Beyonce.
Rap Basement reported that Charlamagne Da God conversed with television personality Andrew Schulz on why Rihanna would be declared the winner at the Verzuz battle.
Schulz hesitated about having the conversation with Charlamagne, but he confidently asked Charlamagne which singer would win a Verzuz battle on Instagram. After Schulz asked the question, Charlamagne simply responded Rihanna, which led to a disagreement with another guest member on the show.
“And I love Beyoncé,” assures Charlamagne. “It’ll be a great one though, that’s a dream Verzuz, that’s PayPerView. If Rihanna and Beyoncé did a Verzuz on PayPerView, I would pay fight prices.

Known for his contentious comments on and off the air; he has an unapologetic persona about his “tell it like it is” attitude. Charlamagne is not afraid to be in the hot seat while speaking his mind about some of the most controversial subjects in entertainment including Beyonce aka Mrs. Carter.
Schulz and Charlamagne da God continued the conversation, discussing the show’s setup, Rihanna and Beyonce’s musical catalogs, stage presence, reputation in the music industry. Schulz said, “If they’re allowed to perform, Beyonce blows her out of the water,” and Charlamagne agreed with his statement. However, Charlamagne believes if the Verzuz battle were based on songs, Rihanna would win the battle.

R&B singer, Ne-Yo also said in Land on Buford a few years earlier that a Rihanna and Beyonce Verzuz battle would be great for the culture. On the other hand, he would have a hard time deciding who would be the victor.
“I don’t know because from a standpoint musically to a standpoint outside the music business. They have both done so much and at that point, it would come down to opinion of who songs you like best,” said Ne-Yo. “Because it’s not who songs are bigger, they both had major records. And, I genuinely can’t pick one over the other.”
