Three-time Grammy-winner Chance the Rapper gave a shoutout to Only Murders in the Building actor Martin Short for offering his seat on a plane to his daughter, Kensli.
Chance (real name Chancelor Bennett) took to Twitter on Sunday and told his followers about Short’s act of kindness.
“So, I just got on this plane with my daughter, and found out our seats weren’t next to each other,” the rapper tweeted. “I really ain’t wanna inconvenience anyone by asking them to swap seats, but before I could say anything this kind, older gentleman offered his seat to Kensli so we could sit together.”
He said that he and his daughter thanked Short but didn’t realize it was the actor until he stood up.
“…I realize it’s THE Martin Short,” the “No Problem” rapper said.
He remarked how his daughter was “obsessed” with the iconic Christmas movie, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, where Short played the vile Jack Frost.
“What an awesome person! Shoutout to Jack Frost,” Chance ended the post.
